About Greenfields NF Viktor
Greenfields NF Viktor is a cuddly and attention seeking colt, to be gelded, out of Greenfields NF Martha by Greenfields NF Lodur. Based on parental height we’re expecting him to mature towards mid 14hh.
Viktor was born just before midnight 05.09.2025 and was up and standing in less than 30 minutes. The rest of the foaling tick boxes were completed in reasonable time as well. He was introduced to the farrier within a week and she has seen him regularly since then. He joined the other foals of the season and is playful and engaging with his peers, respectful of the other dams and has a nice independent streek checking in with mum for milk primarily. Viktor is learnng to lead and will be taught to hard tie, float load and introduced to baths prior to being available for collection. Tetanus/Strangles vaccinations and the Hendra protocol wil be completed/commenced prior to collection as well. Weaning will at the earliest commence the second week of March 2026 with collection possible towards the end of March.
GNF Viktor has shown a nice floaty movement from the very start, and we think he’ll become a wonderful performance horse if given the opportunity to grow and mature appropriately. We recommend not starting him until at least four years old and enjoying having a youngster with fitting in age appropriate ground work and exposure in the intervening years.
Viktor is in need of an owner who possess the skills to take on a young horse and deelop their skills and confidence in a nurturing and loving manner, with patience and understanding of the body’s development and physiavl and nutritional needs. With Fjord Horses being a hardy breed nutritional balance whilst growing is paramount to ensure a lifetime of health and wellbeing.
All horses are sold under contract developed by HorseForce. We urge you to request a copy of said contract as part of your due diligence. A payment plan is avalable, and a record of a security interest in the Horse in the Personal Property Securities Register will be filed if he is collected prior to complete payment finishing. Alternatively he can be agisted with us amongst his peers until the payment plan has been completed. Fees and charges will apply.
We welcome vet checks on our horses, and are happy to assist in facilitating such checks. We would prefer vets selected for vet checks to be within an 80km radius of Upper Orara due to time allocation as most require us to travel the horse to them. Greenfield’s Stud has a pre-existing ongoing customer relationship with Kentaro Veterinary Services and Equine Veterinary and Dental Services (EVDS).
